Rep. Paolo Duterte's office launches bloodletting drive, collects over 100 blood bags

DAVAO CITY – At least 500 individuals participated in the Bloodletting Drive launched by the Office of First Congressional District Representative Paolo Duterte on Thursday, February 6, at the Davao City Recreation Center (DCRC).

The bloodletting activity, initiated by the lawmaker, was successfully conducted in collaboration with the Barangay Health Workers (BHW) from 54 barangays in the first district and the Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC).

Over 700 people avail free health services in Davao City

DAVAO CITY – More than 700 residents benefitted from free health services in a medical mission led by the Derm Edge, organized by the Manic Nightnings Events Production, in collaboration with the First Congressional District Office on Thursday, January 30, in Barangay 76-A Bucana.

The residents, particularly children and senior citizens, were provided with many health services, including medical consultations with prescribed medications, eye exams accompanied by reading glasses, skin care, minor surgeries such as removal of cysts, warts, and moles, and haircuts.

DAVAO CITY – Some 30 families affected by two separate fire incidents in the first district and one in the second district here as of January received aid from Rep. Paolo Z. Duterte’s office.

DAVAO CITY – Four hundred three families of Barangay Matina Pangi, affected by a flood brought about by the recent localized thunderstorm, received relief assistance from Rep. Paolo Duterte’s office on Thursday and Friday.

The lawmaker’s team led by his son, Rodrigo “Rigo” Duterte II, distributed food packs containing rice, canned goods, and other essentials, and cash assistance to flood victims at Purok 1-A, Purok 3-A, Purok 11-A, and Purok 12-A of the Matina Pangi.

DAVAO CITY – First Congressional District Representative Paolo Duterte released on Tuesday, January 7, his accomplishment report for 2024, covering activities and gains as a member of the House of Representatives.

Rep. Duterte led the distribution of 35,457 food packs with containers to identified beneficiaries, another 18,462 food packs, and 10,087 packed lunches as he aimed to improve the food supply of under served communities.

DAVAO CITY – The first “Duterte 2025 Inter-Barangay Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) Volleyball and Basketball Tournament” recently concluded with action-packed matches, showcasing exceptional talent, sportsmanship, and unity among the participants.

For the LGBT Volleyball tournament, Barangay Dumoy emerged as the champ, dominating the fight with outstanding teamwork and skill held in Barangay 22-C’s court. Barangay 76-A Bucana secured first place, Barangay 8-A in second place, and Barangay 22-C in third place.

Rep. Paolo Duterte sends immediate aid to Bankerohan fire victims

DAVAO CITY – More than 200 families affected by a vast fire incident in Barangay 5-A here received immediate aid on Friday, August 23, from the Office of First Congressional District Representative Paolo “Pulong” Duterte, represented by his son, Rodrigo “Rigo” Duterte II.

The families staying in Barangay 5-A covered court received food packs, bottled water, and water containers. Rigo also facilitated the distribution of hot porridge and meal packs to the fire victims on Friday evening while the city welfare office assessed the affected residents.

2024 Kasikas sa Kadayawan features Pahalipay ni Pulong Para sa Kadayawan Songwriting Composition

DAVAO CITY – The 2024 Kasikas sa Kadayawan of the 39th Kadayawan Festival on August 17 kicked off with impressive performances from Davaoeño artists, featuring original song compositions from the winners of this year’s “Pahalipay ni Pulong Para sa Kadayawan Songwriting Competition.”

At least 45 participants submitted their entries for the songwriting competition, sponsored by the Pwersa ng Pilipinong Pandagat (PPP) Partylist and Ato ni Bai, by posting on their Facebook accounts. Three winners were declared before their Saturday live performance and awarding at San Pedro Square.
