Edvic Yap, the Davao City lawmaker filed House Bill (HB) 8068 that aims to mandate all businesses employing more than 20 workers and with work premises of not less than 50 meters to install CCTV or surveillance cameras and maintain these in good working condition.

In filing House Bill (HB) 8070, Duterte, Benguet Rep. Eric Yap, and ACT-CIS Partylist Rep. Edvic Yap said the discount applies to, among others, examination fees, certificates, clearances, and enrollment in accredited driving schools.

Davao police earlier confirmed that the 28-year-old victim, Vlanche Marie Bragas, a resident of Megaville, was also sexually assaulted before she was murdered by still unidentified suspect/s. The police found her cadaver in Dacudao at around 8 a.m. on May 17 following reports from concerned citizens.
