DAVAO CITY – First Congressional District Representative Paolo “Pulong” Duterte wishes all barangay officials success in their programs and endless compassion in serving the people, particularly in the first district.

Rep. Duterte was the guest speaker in the “Araw ng Barangay” of 4-A Poblacion on Saturday, January 27. The lawmaker and his son, Rodrigo “Rigo” Duterte II, along with their staff, arrived around 10 a.m.

The lawmaker and his son greeted everyone, including the barangay officials and the council. They sincerely thanked Barangay 4-A for their endless support of the Duterte family since the inception of the barangay. 

“Ako nanghina-ut nga kini inyung barangay magpadayung malambu-on ug magmalampuson kamu sa inyung mga programa para sa tanang residente sa inyung barangay,” Rep. Duterte said, as he expressed genuine care to his constituents.

Rep. Duterte also reiterated to the barangay residents not to hesitate to approach the First Congressional District Office should anyone require assistance. He said his office and unwavering commitment stand ready to support everyone.

The barangay captain, Romaranje Nocom, barangay councils, and residents warmly welcomed them. Nocom sincerely thanked Rep. Duterte and his son for supporting the barangay.

In celebration of the Araw ng Barangay in 4-A, Rep. Duterte’s staff distributed tumblers and basketball balls to spectators, including children. Rigo also thanked the entire barangay for their love for his father and the Duterte family.
