Over 500 tricycle drivers, operators get relief aid from Duterte’s office
DAVAO CITY – Over 500 members of the Tricycle Operators and Drivers Associations from nine barangays here received relief aid from the Office of First Congressional District Representative Paolo Duterte amid the celebration of the 39th Kadayawan Festival.
Rodrigo “Rigo” Duterte II, representing his father, led the distribution of the 300 food packs with sweatshirts and 400 personalized t-shirts to tricycle drivers and operators in barangays 8-A and 12-B, respectively, on Thursday, August 15.

First Congressional District Office distributes relief aid to fire victims in Maa
DAVAO CITY – At least three families affected by a fire incident in Barangay Maa here received food and cash assistance on Wednesday, August 14, from the Office of the First Congressional District Representative Paolo Duterte.
Rodrigo “Rigo” Duterte, on behalf of his father, led the distribution of food packs (canned goods, bottled water, and other essentials) and cash assistance to the families affected by the incident four days ago.

Rep. Paolo Duterte pushes for bill urging all gov't officials to undergo random drug testing
DAVAO CITY - First Congressional District Representative Paolo Z. Duterte on Monday, August 12, pushed for the passage of a bill requiring elected and appointed public officials to undergo random drug testing through hair follicle tests every six months.
Being at the forefront of public service with the mandate towards integrity and modesty, Rep. Duterte said, it is imperative that public officials and government employees should be the very first to uphold such constitutional mandate by submitting themselves towards accountability measures that serve as a tool in addressing the fullfilment of the mandate.

Rigo Duterte honors 11 tribes at the 39th Kadayawan Festival opening
DAVAO CITY - Rodrigo “Rigo” Duterte II, on behalf of his father, Davao City First Congressional District, Rep. Paolo Duterte, participated alongside government officials, consular corps, deputy mayors, members of the 11 ethnolinguistic tribes, and private sector in the formal opening of the 39th Kadayawan Festival at Ramon Magsaysay Park on Thursday evening, August 9.
Before the program started, Rigo, fondly referred to as “Atong Amigo,” explored the Kadayawan Cultural Villages inside the park, met with the people at the tribal village, and sampled traditional delicacies demonstrating the respective tribes’ rich heritage. He also thanked everyone for their warm welcome and preparation for this significant event for all the Davaoeños.

Two more emergency vehicles given to First District barangays
DAVAO CITY - The Office of First Congressional District Representative Paolo Duterte, through his son Rodrigo “Rigo” Duterte II, turned over on Thursday, August 8, patient transport vehicles to two barangays in Davao City.
Rigo personally handed over the patient transport vehicle key to each barangay leader, Rodrigo Tangaro of the Catalunan Pequeño and James Abadilla of the 8-A, to improve their emergency response to their constituents.

Duterte’s office distributes cash aid to fire victims in Davao
DAVAO CITY - At least 230 families in two barangays here affected by the fire received cash aid from the office of First Congressional District Rep. Paolo Z. Duterte on Thursday, August 1.
Rodrigo “Rigo” Duterte II, the lawmaker’s son, assisted 45 house owners, sharers, renters, and boarders in Barangay 28-C and aided the same to 185 families in Barangay 2-A.

Fire victims in Brgy. 2-A get relief aid from Paolo Duterte’s office
DAVAO CITY – More than 200 families displaced by a fire here received immediate assistance from the Office of First Congressional District Representative Paolo “Pulong” Duterte on Saturday night.
The lawmaker’s son, Rodrigo “Rigo” Duterte II, distributed food packs, bottled water, and hot porridge to fire victims (545 individuals) at Purok 2, Barangay 2-A. They will distribute more help on the next day.

FILIPINOS ARE NOT FOR SALE
“Tao ra gud pod ta oyyy. Way problema.” was a line that got my attention. Rigo, Congressman Paolo Duterte’s son, humbly uttered this while comforting one of the fire victims after thanking him for handing over aid.
I know it will sound a little bit biased if I say this family is far different from those political clans that we used to know, but it is the reality that made me understand deeper their fight against the predators of this country.

Rep. Paolo Duterte is top-performing district representative in Davao City
DAVAO CITY – First Congressional District Representative Paolo Z. Duterte was rated the top performer in Davao City and third in the Davao Region based on a survey conducted by the RP-Mission Development Foundation Inc. (RPMD).
Rep. Duterte achieved an 87.3 percent job satisfaction rating, leading over Davao City’s second district representative, Isidro T. Ungab, who scored 83.6 percent, and the third district representative, Vincent J. Garcia, who received 70.2 percent.
