DAVAO CITY – First Congressional District Representative Paolo Z. Duterte placed among the Top Performing District Representatives in the Davao Region, according to the latest survey conducted by the RP–Mission Development Foundation Inc. (RPMD).

Rep. Duterte garnered 84.7 percent, reflecting a notable 3.4 percent increase from 81.3 percent on the April 2023 survey, next to Rep. Maria Carmen Zamora of Davao de Oro, with 85.2 percent compared to 80.5 percent four months ago.

QUEZON CITY - Lawmakers led by Davao City First Congressional District Representative Paolo Duterte have proposed the construction of postharvest facilities in every palay-producing city and municipality in the country to help raise farmers’ incomes and lower rice prices.

Duterte said the construction of these postharvest facilities could begin with building a rice mill and a warehouse in every legislative district with at least one rice-producing town.

Duterte said House Bill (HB) 4927, which he had filed with Benguet Rep. Eric Yap, aims to provide this benefit to graduates from poor families “in order to level the playing field amongst all future professional examination takers.”
