Former President Rodrigo Duterte met recently with his eldest son, Davao City Rep. Paolo “Pulong” Duterte, and his grandson and namesake, Rodrigo “Rigo” Duterte II at his residence in Davao City.

The three discussed the former President’s life after his term as president, Rep. Paolo’s congressional initiatives, and Rigo’s plan for the future, according to the statement issued along with the photos of the three.

The former President urged the 24-year-old Rigo to keep his options open before making any decision on whether to enter government service or be in the private sector.

Rep. Duterte, on his part, urged his son Rigo to involve himself more in serving Dabawenyos.

The solon said the Duterte brand of public service has earned the Dabawenyos utmost trust and confidence for several decades now.

Rigo has been representing his father in the activities of the Davao City 1st Congressional District Office.

Rigo recently led the turnover of a gymnasium and Lamayan ng Bayan in Barangay Talomo and distributed aid to fire victims in Barangay 76-A Bucana in the city.
