DAVAO CITY - The Office of the First Congressional District, Representative Paolo Duterte, extended its support for the construction of facilities for a military brigade at Purok 2 in Barangay Malagos, Baguio District, Davao City.

Rep. Duterte's office gave assistance to the Philippine Army's 1003rd Brigade following the request of the latter for support.

Among the facilities that the 1003rd Brigade is currently building are their headquarters, sergeant major quarters, mess hall, enlisted women and enlisted personnel barracks, and bachelor office quarters.

According to the 1003rd Brigade, the local chief executives prayed for the protection of the cleared areas against any intrusion and re-infiltration of a counter-terrorist group.

The Brigade's main task is to recalibrate and relocate its forces to effectively implement its sustainable operations; thus, the construction of facilities is needed.

Rep. Duterte supports those on the front lines aside from giving other assistance to his constituents and those in need of emergency assistance due to COVID-19 pandemic. The soldiers are among the frontliners who work to ensure everyone’s safety.

In addition to helping the brigade, Rep. Duterte's office has been providing wheelchairs and building supplies to their constituents who are in need.
