Another fire victims get immediate aid from First Congressional District Office

DAVAO CITY – The fire victims in Barangay 74-A Matina Crossing received immediate relief aid on Tuesday, June 7, from the office of First Congressional District Representative Paolo Z. Duterte.
Rep. Duterte’s staff visited the Tahimik Avenue in Barangay 74-A to distribute food packs, mineral waters, and toiletries to 27 families whose houses were destroyed by a fire on Tuesday afternoon.
The First Congressional District Office also distributed hot meals (lugaw) to the victims, while the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) had conducted assessment on the incident.
Rep. Duterte said their support is part of the government’s wholesome approach to relieving the plight of the affected families affected. His office also provides medical aid to those in need of it.
In a report from the Davao City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), the fire started at around 5 p.m. on Tuesday at Tahimik Avenue. Some 27 families were affected of the incident.
