Fifty-two Dabawenyos from various barangays rolled up their sleeves and donated blood on Monday, September 7, in a community bloodletting drive aimed at helping patients who may need life-saving transfusions.

The second bloodletting activity of the Office of the First Congressional District of Davao City, led by Rep. Paolo “Pulong” Duterte, was held at People’s Park along Palma Gil Street in Davao City.

The activity was conducted in partnership with the Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) Blood Production Service under the Department of Health, with the goal of encouraging voluntary blood donation and helping augment the city’s blood supply.
