DAVAO CITY – At least 30,000 marginalized workers have benefited from various projects and programs initiated or coordinated by Davao City 1st District Representative Paolo Duterte during his first three months in office, the lawmaker's office reported Tuesday.

DAVAO CITY – More than 30,000 fishermen, public utility drivers, and other marginalized and displaced workers benefited from the various projects and programs initiated by First Congressional District Representative Paolo Z. Duterte during his first three months in the 19th Congress.

Rep. Duterte has also filed 60 bills from July to September 2022, the most recent of which seeks to either raise the incomes or provide economic relief to public school teachers, small farmers, freelance workers and calamity victims, to name a few.

It’s been a busy 19th Congress so far for Davao City 1st district Rep. Paolo “Pulong” Duterte, who managed to file over 60 measures from July to September 2022 while juggling various pet projects aimed at benefiting marginalized sectors in his district.

MANILA – Two members of the House of Representatives on Tuesday took pride in the enactment of the measure mandating the registration of Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) cards after it was signed into law by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

Davao City 1st District Representative Paolo Duterte and Benguet lone district Rep. Eric Yap filed the measure on the first day of the 19th Congress as House Bill 506, before it was substituted by House Bill 14.

The office of Duterte tapped the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) to provide Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Disadvantaged/Displaced Worker (TUPAD) benefits to some 8,160 fisherfolks and 5,799 public utility vehicle (PUV) drivers in his district of July to September.

Mahigit 30,000 indibiduwal ang natulungan ng tanggapan ni Duterte mula Hulyo hanggang Setyembre.

Sa pakikipagtulungan sa Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) nakapagbigay ang tanggapan ni Duterte ng Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Disadvantaged/Displaced Worker (TUPAD) benefits sa may 8,160 mangingisda at 5,799 public utility vehicle (PUV) driver. Nabigyan din ng TUPAD benefits ang 923 street vendors.

MANILA, Philippines — A measure seeking free freight services for the transport of relief goods in areas devastated by calamities has been filed before the House of Representatives.

House Bill 4809 states that the delivery of relief goods to areas declared under a state of calamity by the President or local government units should be at no cost to relief organizations.

Sa inihaing House Bill 4809 o Relief Goods Free Transportation Act, aatasan ang Logistics Cluster ng Office of Civil Defense katuwang ang Philippine Postal Corporation at lahat ng freight companies, common carriers, private carriers, freight forwarders, at iba pa na huwag ng maningil ng bayad lalo na sa mga registered relief organization para sa pagbiyahe ng relief goods sa mga lugar na nasa ilalim ng State of Calamity.

Isinusulong nina Davao City Representative Paolo Duterte at Benguet Representative Eric Yap na gawing libre na lamang ang paghahatid ng mga relief goods sa mga lugar na tinamaan ng kalamidad.
