DAVAO CITY – The office of the First Congressional District Representative Paolo “Pulong” Duterte assisted on Wednesday, February 21, 17 families at Del Carmen Village in Barangay Matina Aplaya, which was affected by a fire last week.

The lawmaker, with his son Rodrigo “Rigo” Duterte II, through the PPP program, oversaw the distribution of relief and cash assistance to eight house owners, six renters, two sharers, and a caretaker at the village.

Seventeen families at Del Carmen Village in Barangay Matina Aplaya, Davao City affected by a fire last week received asistance from the office of the First Congressional District Representative Paolo “Pulong” Duterte on Wednesday.

Rodrigo “Rigo” Duterte II, who represented his father, Rep. Pulong in the Pulong Pulong ni Pulong (PPP) program, led the distribution of relief and cash assistance to eight house owners, six renters, two sharers, and a caretaker at the village.

Released on Saturday (Jan. 13), Duterte's accomplishment report from January to December 2023 highlights the PPP Mobile Kitchen, which served 7,050 packs of lunch and hot porridge to underserved communities, including fire and flood victims.

He also provided food packs and cash assistance to 5,421 fisherfolks in Davao City who had difficulty in fishing during the rainy and closed seasons. His office aims to improve the food supply of families affected by climate change.

He distributed food packs and cash assistance to 5,421 fisherfolk here who had difficulty fishing during the rainy and closed seasons. He said his office aimed to improve the food supply of families affected by climate change.

Duterte said that he authored 78 House bills and 12 resolutions in 2023 – House Bills 7360, 9423, 9682, 7687, 9095, 9320, and 9021 concerning micro and small enterprises, elderly persons, farmers, teachers, children, and other underprivileged Filipinos.

FIFTY-NINE students from different state universities and colleges (SUCs) received cash support for their tuition fees from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) XI and the First Congressional District Office on Jan. 10 at People’s Park.

In a statement, Maria Bonjeavem Alger, CHED XI chief administrative officer, said each recipient received P25,000 cash from the Student Monetary Assistance for Recover and Transition (SMART) program, initiated by the House of Representatives.

Despite a massively slashed budget to his office, Davao City First District Representative Paolo “Pulong” Duterte continues to fulfill his promise of extending assistance and supporting the students.

A total of 59 students from various state universities and colleges (SUCs) received cash grants for their tuition from the First Congressional District Office and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) on Wednesday.
