Duterte said the proposed Refund for Internet and Telecommunications Service Outages and Disruption Act (House Bill 8480) will ensure that subscribers will pay only for the service they get and will push telecom firms to provide fast, reliable, and uninterrupted internet connection.

Authors of House Bill 8480 are Davao City Rep. Paolo Duterte; Benguet Rep. Eric Yap, ACT-CIS Partylist Reps. Jocelyn Tulfo and Edvic Yap, and Quezon City 2nd District Rep. Ralph Tulfo.

The bill seeks to ensure that subscribers pay only for the service they get and push telecom firms to provide fast, reliable and uninterrupted internet connection.

Ralph Tulfo, nais ng mga itong tiyaking magbabayad lang ang mga subscribers para sa serbisyong nakukuha nila at igiit na ang mga telecom firms ay magbigay ng mabilis, maaasahan at walang patid na koneksyon sa internet.

Naghain ng panukala si Davao City Rep. Paolo Duterte at apat pang kongresista ng panukala upang mabigyan ng automatic refund ang mga kustomer na nakaranas ng paputol-putol o walang serbisyo na tumagal ng 24 na oras sa loob ng isang buwan.

Ayon kay Duterte, ang panukalang Refund for Internet and Telecommunications Service Outages and Disruption Act (House Bill 8480) ay titiyak na ang babayaran lamang ng mga kustomer ay ang serbisyo na kanilang nakuha at magtutulak sa mga telco na ayusin ang kanilang serbisyo.

Isang panukala ang inihain sa Kamara na nagsusulong na magtalaga ng dialysis wards sa mga government hospital, at magbigay ng libreng gamutan para sa mga mahihirap na pasyente na may kidney disease.

Isinulong nina Davao City Representative Paolo Duterte, Benguet Rep. Eric Yap, at ACT-CIS Party-list Rep. Edvic Yap sa ilalim ng House Bill 7841, na mapagtuunan ang tumataas na bilang ng mga Pilipinong nagkakasakit sa bato.
