For the LGBT Volleyball tournament, Barangay Dumoy emerged as the champ, dominating the fight with outstanding teamwork and skill held in Barangay 22-C’s court. Barangay 76-A Bucana secured first place, Barangay 8-A in second place, and Barangay 22-C in third place.

MANILA, Philippines — The office of Davao City 1st District Rep. Paolo Duterte released on Tuesday a result of the lawmaker’s hair follicle test for illegal drugs.

Based on the drug test document, which Duterte’s office shared with members of the media, the Hi-Precision Diagnostics Center requested the examination of the lawmaker’s hair sample to Omega Laboratories on October 28. It also showed that Duterte’s hair sample was collected on October 23.

DAVAO CITY – Davao City first congressional district Rep. Paolo Duterte voluntarily submitted once again to a hair follicle drug test on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at High Precision Diagnostic Norkis Building in Mandaluyong City, in response to a challenge from a lady solon here.

Rep. Duterte subjected himself to a hair follicle drug test after his opponent in the 2025 elections – Pwersa ng Bayaning Atleta (PBA) party-list Rep. Gargarita Rograles – challenged him to take a new test here.

DAVAO CITY – Rep. Paolo Z. Duterte of the first district here has filed House Bill (HB) 10744 requiring elected and appointed public officials to undergo random drug testing through the hair follicle test every six months.

Duterte said it is imperative that public officials and government employees should be the very first to uphold such constitutional mandate by submitting themselves toward accountability measures that serve as a tool in addressing the fulfillment of the mandate.

THE Department of Social Welfare and Development-Davao Region (DSWD-Davao) clarified that despite the rumors circulating, the agency continues to provide medical and burial assistance and other support services to Davao constituents.

Prior to this, Davao City First District Representative Paolo ‘Pulong’ Duterte, in a statement posted on Monday, July 8, 2024, said that the Davao City government has no plans nor intention to stop the assistance which includes financial and medical support to cater to the vulnerable sectors.

Davao City Rep. Paolo Duterte denied the claim of PBA party-list Rep. Margarita Nograles concerning the funds of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

“I have no reason to withhold what is meant for the people. In my few years as a congressman here in Davao, especially during the pandemic, everyone knows about the aid we distributed, which exceeded what the current administration provided, including my personal funds,” Duterte said

DAVAO CITY – Rep. Paolo Z. Duterte dismissed as black propaganda a notice to the public posted outside his office here that said that they have temporarily stopped medical assistance for private hospitals in this city due to lack of funding from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

“We apologize for any inconvenience and sadness this may cause. We will let you know if additional funds become available. Thank you very much,” said the notice written in the local dialect and circulated on Facebook and Twitter.

Paolo “Pulong” Duterte on Monday said his office has temporarily suspended its medical assistance program for his constituents as the Department of Social and Welfare Development (DSWD) is no longer funding such services to favor another party list.

Reacting to the statement of Puwersa ng Bayaning Atleta (PBA) party list representative Migs Nograles, Duterte alleged that DSWD funds are being used for politics, claiming that the agency is favoring another party list’s projects in an attempt to destroy them.
