DAVAO CITY – The Office of the First Congressional District, Representative Paolo Z. Duterte, is making efforts to assist several families displaced by the fire incidents through the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program.
Rep. Duterte’s office said that around 547 families in the first district displaced by the fire incidents, including about 900 recipients of TUPAD payout, have yet to receive their assistance. These are recipients who did not claim their assistance earlier.
The recipients who will benefit from the program are fire victims, vendors, school janitors and maintenance, barbers, shoemakers, tailors, bote-bakal, families of the inmates, and salon staff, among others.
The First Congressional District Office has set a schedule of assistance distribution for recipients who have yet to claim assistance starting January 23, 2023.
