DAVAO CITY – The First Congressional District Office headed by House Deputy Speaker and Representative Paolo “Pulong” Duterte is accepting scholarship applicants for Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda) program.

The Tesda Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP) aims to continue to be directed towards filling up the skills gaps and job requirements of priority industries and sectors with high employment demand, improving the reach of quality TVET to the grassroots.

Tesda encourages technical-vocational institutions to offer program in higher qualifications catering to in-demand industry requirements. This shall be supportive of the government’s thrust of rapid, inclusive and sustained economic growth.

Rep. Duterte’s office is seeking for beneficiaries of the TWSP with the following qualifications: (1) must be eighteen (18) years old at the time the scholarship finishes the Tesda’s training program; and (2) must be high school graduate.

• Computer Systems Servicing NC 2

• Animation NC 2

• Housekeeping 

• Bread and Pastry Production NC 2

• Health Care Services

• Cookery NC 2

• Hilot (Wellness Massage)

• Trainers Methodology Level 1

• HEO-Bulldozer NC 2

• HEO-Forklift NC 2

• HEO-Backhoe NC 2

• Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC 1

• Electrical Installation and Maintenance
